Tenures/concession polygons will contain areas retricted to logging and other resources extraction activities by protected areas legislation and by other legislative and policy restrictions. We attempted to include only crown lands and exclude all private lands where the data was available, but some jursiductions may have inadvertently included private lands.

Company/FMA/AAC information was obtained for June 2003 from the Forest Management Branch, Land & Forest Division, Alberta Sustainable Resource Development.

	Quota - the right to harvest a share (as a percentage) of the coniferous AAC within a FMU or the right to harvest deciduous timber within a defined area of a FMU.
